Oh my goodness....YUMMMY!!! I had the gyro and a salad, the salads are crisp w the best ranch lol i will definitely go back again& again.

Food and service was awesome. Love the atmosphere, the smells, everything. I had the Greek Gyro Breakfast Skillet. The Mrs. had the French dip roast sandwich and homemade chips. A great value. Menu is loaded. We drove all the way from Batesville Arkansas twice so far just to eat at Skillets. And without a doubt, going again.

My experience at skillet restaurant in west plains, mo was wonderful. The waitress and entire staff was very accommodating of my alpha gal mammal allergy. Give them 5 stars for excellence. Thank you all very much.

The Skillet in West Planes, Mo is a place worth driving 25miles for a good meal. The waitress I had was very friendly and attentive.. I had a gyro and it was delicious and the home made potato chips were very good.. For desert I had the chocolate pecan pie very yummy.. My over all experience was excellent!

Great food! Friendly servers! Okay prices. There is a new cook right now and he isn't the best, but they will take food back if it's not how you like it and have it remade.

No matter what you want to eat they should have, and everything I have ever eaten in this place is good. Sometimes they are busy and you may have to wait for a table but not very long

The hostess was snippy & kinda rude from the moment we walked in. I guess we arrived right around shift change so we had an initial waitress for drinks and another for food. Both were very friendly and sweet! The food was pretty bland and not even really hot. My 2 yr olddaughter ordered the chicken and it honestly was the best food on the table lol!

Sometimes the food is great, other times it's burnt and still served as edible. Portions of the same meal (a skillet) seem to differ between breakfast crew (bigger) & dinner crew (smaller). The service on nights is a bit slow. I'm usually waiting on the check for an unreasonable amount of time, and sometimes go to pay without ever having received the check.

Took a long time to be served. Restaurant was NOT busy. Steak was very tough. Other meals (hamburger steak) and mashed potatoes were Luke warm and we sent it back. Chicken fingers were very good.

I was traveling for work and found this place for dinner. The prices were amazingly low and the amount of food was high and good. My sever was excellent.

We did a party of 12 Saturday night at 5pm. This place wasn't busy, but it should have been! The food was excellent and the server, we had just one, did a fantastic job keeping up with 12 patrons, never letting drinks go empty and constantly checking on us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Went in for breakfast. The prices were a little higher than I was hoping for, the the helpings were very large, and the food was top notch. Totally glad I gave them a shot!!

Food was very good. Generous servings. Wish the meal included a vegetable, not just meat, potato, and gravy. But again, all was very tasty. Nice and clean restaurant, very friendly waitress, but the temperature was a little chilly for me. But we all enjoyed our visit. Would definitely recommend!

Without a doubt the best restaurant experience I have had in a long time. Food was great with very large portions. Saturday morning staff was super. Just when I was going to lower my standards I found this place. So I know it can be done. Anyone in the service industry should come here and learn. Thank you Skillets.

Fast, friendly, great prices

I'm from out of town and this place was recommended by several locals. I ate the chicken and waffles, and they were the best I've ever had. The waitress was witty and pleasant, the diner is squeaky clean, and the prices are very reasonable.

Something has changed, the mashed potatoes didn't even taste as such, the pork tenderloin had an off flavor as in almost bad meat. The fry serving was much smaller and the coffee was very weak. I've been a fan in the past but not now.

All the food is excellent, I never walk away hungry EVER. The portions are huge and delicious and the prices are low. The staff are very nice and attentive. I go to this place nearly every time I am in West Plains because it's so good.

Service much better today. (Last time I got tired of waiting and left.)Kids burger ($4.29) was HUGE, adult size burger. Philly (8.99) was TINY with not much meat and too much onion. Not worth the price, I left hungry.Next time I think I will just get a kids burger!

Breakfast all day. Omelets. Waffles. Artisan burgers. Big meals. Excellent pies--try the lemon chiffon. Friendly and efficient service. A great place.

The greeter was rude. Restaurant was dirty but figure that was from rush hour. Our waitress was amazing. But food wasn't that good. My French fries was cold and looked like they sat out on plate awhile. Hamburger was taste but they had no pickles ran out. I don't appreciate floors being swept by me while I'm trying to eat. That is nasty and rude. They cashier was rude too .. only good thing was our waitress. She was amazing and on top of it.

The food and service was terrific as usual. The only place we go that my kids clean their whole plate or at least most of it. Never had to wait but a few seconds for anything, our server was very polite and prompt! I would definitely recommend Skillets. It is only one of two places we eat at in West Plains!

This was the Grecian salad my daughter ordered!! She got 2 meals out of it and it was under $7!!! All fresh and loaded with vegetables!

Have eaten here on 6-8 occasions while visiting town on business. They are very reasonably priced, even offering a 10% military/veteran discount. Food is hit or miss. I have had the chicken fried chicken which is an unbelievable portion size and very tasty at less than $10. Unbelievable really. Then I've had an omelette for dinner with hash browns, but the hash browns were overcooked and inedible, like left over from breakfast. Will still go back.
